Our new topic for this term is Come & Join the Celebration. We have talking about different celebrations that we are familiar with such as: birthdays and weddings. We have also been learning about the Chinese New Year. The boys and girls have enjoyed watching a video to explain why we celebrate Chinese New Year and also they have been busy making lanterns and tasting noodles. With the help of Yvonne we made a great attempt at using chopsticks. It was very difficult but we tried our best.
On Thursdays we have fun PE lessons with Lisa. Today we played cats and mice and mini dodgeball, it was so much fun! Remember to send PE kits for your child to wear on Thursdays!
Every week selected children in year 2/3 are asked to bring in a special object that they wish to share with their peers.
This week Hannah brought in two toys that talk and Ross brought in his Shepherd's crook, cap and dog.
They told us so much and the children asked lots of questions.
Our new topic this term is 'What a Disaster!' We are all very excited to learn about one of the most famous world disasters- the Titanic. We have also been enjoying some new rugby coaching.

Welcome back, our theme for the next few months is Yum Yum. We will be exploring food. Healthy and unhealthy choices, food groups, how food is produced, where food comes from and we will be tasting lots of different foods and doing some cooking.
Our Topic for this term is 'How it's Made'. We will be looking at different materials and fabrics and thinking about the construction and properties of things around us.
