What a busy half term it has been! Well done boys and girls on all your hard work to date. I was amazed and a little bit frightened by some of your costumes today π±π π» π
Well done to Lily on her pumpkin design. We had so much fun decorating it together in class.
This week the boys and girls have had lots of fun playing with the Halloween related resources. They have been drawing Halloween pictures, carving and decorating a pumpkin, making potions in the water tray and dressing up in the home corner.
We have been busy little bees, learning lots of new skills.
Today we came to Nursery dressed up in our Halloween costumes. Some children were scary and Mrs Preston couldn’t figure out who was hiding behind the masks.
The children had some treats to finish off the day before their half term holidays.
Happy Halloween boys & girls and see you in November. ππΈπ·π§π»βοΈπ§π»

Today Mrs Harper very kindly organised a Halloween Scavenger Hunt outside for the boys and girls in school and nursery. If you found the sweet with the sticker you got an extra treat from Mrs Harper’s office. Well done to all the boys and girls for taking part and thank you to Mrs Harper for the surprises.

We have enjoyed learning about items related to the Hymn 'All things bright and beautiful' in September and October.
Colour played a major part and we enjoyed painting our colour wheels and studying the Rainbow Fish book.
We especially liked our Autumn Walk around the school grounds looking at the changing colours.
Y5/6 enjoyed this quick and effective art lesson today. We drew our squiggly lines for our ghosts with black marker then made up our own faces for them. We then used blue pencil to lightly highlight around the edges of our ghosts to create a 3D look. Don’t they look great !?
