We had our first lesson in our outdoor classroom today. We learnt all about the lifecycle of a sunflower and then planted our own. We can’t wait to watch them grow.

Nursery and school completed their daily mile for World Daily Mile Day!
Parents and families you are all invited to visit our new outdoor learning area/pollinator garden on Tuesday 16th May. Feel free to call in for a cuppa and have a look when you are collecting your child(ren) at either 2pm or 3pm.
Please spread the word amongst family and friends to keep any plastic lids for our school. We are sending them off as part of a recycle scheme to have them made into garden items e.g. chairs or a mud kitchen for our new pollinator garden.
The Year 5’s and Year 6’s from Mrs McClelland class attended a local cricket blitz at Strabane Academy. The weather was beautiful and all the kids had great fun. Thank you to David from the Northwest Cricket Union for organising this, we had a blast.
We were delighted to hand over £150 to Megan from Foyle Down Syndrome Centre today. The money was raised as part of Odd Sock Day on World Down Syndrome Day in March. Thank you to everyone who donated.
This week is Autism Acceptance Week. Today we wore our bright colours to support our vibrant autism community and be kind to different minds.
