This week is Autism Acceptance Week. Today we wore our bright colours to support our vibrant autism community and be kind to different minds.
Earlier in the week we asked for some help planting hedges and fruit trees in our new pollinator garden. We would like to say a huge thank you to Ross and Billy for all their help this morning with William, Alfie and Mrs Harper. Our Eco Committee called up to see how our garden is progressing 🪴 we can’t wait to see the finished product when our plants arrive after Easter.
Our P4-7 have put on two amazing performances in school. A huge well done to everyone involved… We are so proud of you all.
Our kitchen staff had such a difficult job judging our Easter Egg Competition as our boys and girls put so much effort into their creations! A big thank you and well done to everyone for taking part. Our winners are:

P1/2 really enjoyed spending the afternoon on their bikes/ scooters. It was really great for Mr Henderson and Anne to see how well they can use them. They all used their bikes and scooters so safely.
P1/2 have been busy planting. Mrs Pollock very kindly gave us onions to plant. They really enjoyed digging the soil out and putting it into plant pots.
This was our first time visiting the new outdoor learning area.

We are so proud of all our children at Artigarvan Primary School & Community nursery and like to share their successes outside of school as well as in school.
Today was a very exciting day as The Hills Church very kindly donated a beautiful hamper to our school. Judah helped to explain about the hamper and the brilliant fun day that is happening at the Hills church on Sunday 9th April. Every child received a ticket on their way into assembly and the winner was drawn... A huge congratulations to our winner Calvin! Enjoy all the treats 😃
We are overwhelmed by the generosity of our families!! Each class have made three or four beautiful hampers for our Easter Hamper Draw tomorrow morning! Please ensure you have all your draw sheets returned to be in with a chance of winning! Thank you so much to everyone for supporting our Easter Hamper Draw.
