Each week Mrs Harper will choose a pupil who has shown kindness throughout the week at school to receive her special kindess award. We have so many kind pupils in Artigarvan Primary School! This week the award goes to Sophie. Well done and keep being kind...it doesn't go unnoticed.
Today in assembly we had FIVE word millionaires!! A huge congratulations to Mason, Alfie, and Ariana who have all read one million words and will now join our 'Millionaire's Row' notice board.
Chloe and Sarah have became our first multi-millionaires and have now read two million words! Congratulations Chloe and Sarah!
Keep up the amazing reading everyone and enjoy your treats!!
Yesterday our class had visitors from the Loughs Agency. They taught us all about migration. We learned the reasons why Salmon migrate. We learned about the threats they encounter and we learned all about the epic journey they undertake. We played a game a bit like snakes and ladders at the end but it was all about water and salmon.
Our eggs have all hatched now and turned into little fry. The visitors from the loughs Agency took them away to the next stage of their journey. We were all sad to see them go! Have a look at them in our photographs.
This week and next we are encouraging everyone to walk, cycle or scoot to school. Mr Campbell or another member of staff will be meeting any walkers, cyclists or scooters at the community hall at 8:40 each morning. It will be great to see you there every morning.
Here are some pictures for the Year 3/4 pupils with their bikes and scooters in school.
