Please see attached a flyer for a Parentline workshop focusing on toilet training for children of Nursery/School age. This workshop is free for parents and carers and will take place on Monday 10th June from 7pm-8.30pm via Zoom. Parents can book a place by calling free on 0808 8020 400.

A huge well done to Ariana and Mya as their team won the under 11 Girls Derry & District Summer Cup at the weekend. Congratulations girls and to the rest of your team from everyone at Artigarvan Primary School and Community Nursery.

We had a lovely treat in school when Tom Sweeney came to visit. Everyone from nursery to Year 7 enjoyed the songs and everyone was singing along (the staff too). Thank you Tom for an enjoyable morning.

Year 6 and Year 7 enjoyed a cookery demonstration with Sandra from the Livestock Meat Commission. The children enjoyed tasting the chilli beef pasta and now have a cookery book to make some delicious meals at home.

Our netball team enjoyed a netball tournament in Melvin Sports Complex playing against other local schools, kindly organised by Marty Gormley who has been coaching the girls over the past few months. Well done to all the girls and to all the other schools for taking part. This was a lovely tribute in memory of Holly. Congratulations to St Catherine’s who won the Holly Gormley Memorial Cup.

Today we wore red in memory of baby Rosie. Thank you for all of your donations to the charity, and to Donna for giving each child a packet of sweets. ❤️

Today we all wore red to remember Baby Rosie and raise some money for The Children’s Heartbeat Trust and The CHC ward at Crumlin Hospital. We are so thankful to everyone for their support. So far we have raised £750
