A sea of colour arrived to school today as pupils and staff dressed as their favourite characters from a book.
We had a special Assembly to show the vast array of characters to the rest of the school.

Today we had a Fire Fighter in the Year 4/5 classroom.
He is from the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service and came to talk to us about ways we can prevent fires and accidents.
We had discussions about how to keep our homes safe and what measures we can take to ensure we are as safe as possible.
We also received a 'Safety Team' activity pack full of fun ideas, activities and keepsakes.

P2/3 arrived to school as normal this morning. They entered their classroom only to discover a HUGE surprise!!!
An ENORMOUS penguin !!
The day before the children had put a tiny penguin in water expecting it to expand and grow bigger over 3 days....but no one expected him to grow this big!!
