A special gathering took place before Easter in our school to unveil a piece of work collated by girls who both attend and have attended Artigarvan Primary School.  They worked alongside our very talented Liz to design and create a piece of Art fit for displaying in our school, with the sole purpose of 'remembering Hannah'.  Hannah was a very talented pupil in every way and she holds a very special place in the heart of Artigarvan Primary School.

There is now a special wall as you enter the school where a plaque and an exquisite piece of craft hangs to commemorate our Hannah.  Thanks to everyone who was involved in any way in making this special memorial for Hannah.

Today we had a Fire Fighter in the Year 4/5 classroom.

He is from the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service and came to talk to us about ways we can prevent fires and accidents.

We had discussions about how to keep our homes safe and what measures we can take to ensure we are as safe as possible.

We also received a 'Safety Team' activity pack full of fun ideas, activities and keepsakes.
