Well done to our Year 1/2 children who were amazing performing their nativity play in front of a real audience for the first time!
We really enjoyed putting on our nativity play for a real audience this year. Everyone had a great time having a boogie down to Bethlehem. Have a look at some of our photographs from our performance.

This week our school choir have been performing within our community and surrounding areas. Yesterday we brought some festive cheer to Melmount Manor Nursing home and today we joined a group of local people in Artigarvan Community Hall to perform for them also. 🎶
We are very proud of our school choir that consists of boys and girls from Year 4 -7. They have been doing lots of practising and are enjoying showing off their talent to special audiences. 😁
Last night we had an event called 'Supper with Santa' that was organised by our PTA. What a fantastic evening we all had!! The parents and children arrived and were put into 5 groups. Each group moved around between 5 different classrooms in which they completed various activities. They enjoyed listening to some music and playing board games, watched a short movie, made Rudolph buns and bags, made some reindeer dust for Christmas Eve and also listened to a maginificent story teller who read 'The Night Before Christmas.' 📖
They concluded the evening by meeting the main man, Santa Claus and spending some time having hot chocolate and a cookie for their supper. 🍪
We would like to thank everyone who was involved in organising and preparing for this event as it was a huge success. A special shout out to the following local businesses who donated everything that we needed for the event to take place. A big thank you to: Holden Agriculture, Spar Artigarvan, Dennett Outdoor, Asda and Lakeland Dairies. 👏
We managed to raise a super £505 for our school funds. All the boys and girls left with very happy faces so thats how we know it was a fantastic success. Enjoy looking through our selection of photos! 😁
We had such a fun day in school today for Save the Children Christmas Jumper Day and enjoyed a delicious Christmas dinner. We would like to thank Cherry and Wendy for a beautiful dinner.
Today we took part in the Santa Daily Mile. Every day in school we complete the Daily Mile and we were delighted to sign up to the Santa Daily Mile to add in some festive fun…our new inflatable Santa watched on 🎅
P1/2 has been hit by Christmas! It is great to see so many happy faces and they are so excited! We have even been visited by a naughty elf called Buster! (Even though Mr Henderson doesn’t like elves). Ask your child about Buster everyday to see what he has done.
I hope you like the photos of our lovely class decorating.
