Y6/7 loved their technology and science lesson! Wigglebots, which could actually draw by themselves ( using a motor), caused great excitement in the classroom.

In Mr Campbell’s the boys and girls have been learning about the upcoming World Cup in Qatar.

Year 6 had a fun-filled day at Gortin Glen with the Year 6 pupils from Bready Jubilee Primary School and St. Mary's P.S, Cloughcor. We followed trails, did some forest art and found out lots of interesting information about lots of the animals, birds and trees that live and grow there.
Year 7 had lots of fun at Bready Cricket Club. We joined classes from St Mary's Primary School, Cloughcor and Bready Jubilee Primary School. We did lots of aerobics and a few icebreaker activities. We all enjoyed our morning and made lots of new friends! Have a look at our photos!
The children in Mr Campbell’s class were very excited to meet Baby James and his Mummy for their first Roots of Empathy visit. The Theme is called ‘Meet the Baby”. The children talked about what babies can and cannot do. They weighed Baby James and talked lots to his Mummy about him. Everyone loved meeting him and enjoyed seeing his Mummy Mrs. Kane again! We can wait until their next visit.
A huge well done to Chloe who is our first word millionaire in Accelerated Reading this year!!! Chloe has read one million words since September! Enjoy your treats Chloe and keep up the fantastic reading!!
We started learning about length this week. Children are confident in estimating and measuring in centimetres and metres. We engaged in fun activities where we measured things in our classroom and parts of our body using rulers and tape measures. Today, we went outside to measure the length of some dinosaurs using trundle wheels. The largest one we measured was the ultrasaurus which was 30 metres long! Check out our photos.
50 boys and girls headed off to Castlederg to take part in a local cross-country competition.
The children took part in several races, the course was very long and had several changes in terrain. Everyone gave their all and came back to school with a smile on their face and muck on their clothes.
