Since our topic this term is about food it was very appropriate that we got to make and eat delicious chocolate reindeers. We had lots of fun!!
Mr Allen from Lisneal College popped in to visit Year 6 and 7 and invite them to their Open Evening on 8th January 2020.
A huge well done to Chloe on coming second in the SGN Natural Gas Christmas decoration competition. Chloe won a £50 Amazon voucher.
Pupils from Key Stage 2 were very kindly given hi vis vests from Peadar and Jennifer from Specsavers Strabane. The boys and girls would like to thank Specsavers Strabane for providing these for our school.
We raised a fantastic amount of £144 for Save the Children. Thank you for supporting this worthwhile cause.

We had our fourth visit from Baby Joanna and we talked about how we felt in different situations. We gave Baby Joanna a build a bear as her Christmas present and we look forward to her next visit in the new year.
This week we had a very exciting few days as our Mummies and Daddies came to play in Nursery. On Tuesday and Thursday we had a busy room and lots of happy children. The parents had the opportunity to have some valuable play time with their child and also had a chance to have a quick with Mrs Preston.
We hope you found this useful and also special to spend 1 hour with your child in their school environment. Sorry we didn't manage to get a photo of everyone but here are a few snaps we managed to capture.

On Friday a lady volunteer called Jill Fulton came to our school to collect our filled shoeboxes. We were delighted that we had 54 shoeboxes for Jill to take for the children in Syria. Thank you so much to everyone who contributed. Have a look at the pictures to see the boys and girls in our school helping Jill to load the operation Christmas child shoeboxes into her car.
On 14th Nov we had our third visit from Baby Joanna. Our theme was teething. Baby Joanna has no teeth yet but her Mummy thinks it won’t be long! We talked to Joanna’s Mummy about what she carries in her changing bag for Baby Joanna.
