We have been extremely busy in Year 1 & 2, learning colours, numbers and even sounds! Stories have been a huge part of our learning, we have read all about the Creation story, Noah's Ark, Anna's amazing multi-coloured glasses, Elmer and Owl Babies. Take a look at some of our learning activities and play.
Take a look at our busy bees in the pupil council who are helping Mrs Harper fill the shoe boxes. So far we have 36 boxes ready for the collection on Friday. A huge thank you to everyone who sent in items for the Operation Christmas Child appeal, our boxes will be making their way to Syria in the next few weeks.

Well done to our anti-bullying ambassadors who received their new “wellness” badge today. Keep an eye on for our next ‘Feel Good Friday’ events that our anti-bullying ambassadors are organising.
Today marks the beginning of our Smartie Tube Fundraising activity organised by our PTA. Each child has received a tube of smarties which they can eat and then fill the tube with 20p’s. We would be so grateful if each family could return one tube filled with 20p’s. We will keep you updated on how many tubes have been returned and how much money we have raised. We thank you once again for your support.
The children in Miss Moore's class had great fun making fabulous Halloween lanterns with Leona from Derry and Strabane District Council. The lanterns were then on display on Halloween night at Melvin Sports Complex in Strabane.
The boys and girls enjoyed a visit from our CEF visitor Heather. She told us all how important it is to trust God. Thank you Heather and see you again next month.

Mrs Harper held a party in afterschools for all the boys and girls who received a star award in September. Well done to all our September Superstars!
Every Monday just after lunch Year 2 and 3 enjoy a Musical Pathways Session. We have been singing songs, learning about rhythm and pitch and playing percussion instruments to discover what noise they make and how we can change the sound.
