Thank you to Mrs Harper for providing a delicious breakfast for our Year 7 pupils today. We wish them well as they prepare to move to their new schools in September.
A huge well done to everyone who took part in P1-P7 Sports Day today and congratulations to all the winners.
Today our Year 3 & 4 pupils went to Castlerock for their end of year school trip. All 41 children headed off by bus from school this morning and caught the 9.38am train in Londonderry. We arrived in Castlerock and went to a church hall to leave off our belongings and have our snack.
With our waterproof clothing, buckets and spades we headed down to the beach for some fun! We even managed to see a train passing the crossing and have a play in the park before coming home!
And wow, what fun we had!!!! The children were a credit to the school the whole day and showed excellent behaviour.
Every single child had so much fun and I think there will be a few sandy ears tonight!
You all did us proud today, well done boys and girls! 👏 There might be a few tired children today!
Today we went on the away leg of our friendly matches against Bready Jubilee Primary School.
The game kicked off and we were under pressure from the very first whistle. With Bready on the attack, they opened up a three goal lead early in the first half. We squeezed one goal back before half time. Then the fireworks arrived in the second half with 7 goals scored in the second half. We fought hard and were the winners when the final whistle blew. Captain Zac with 2 goals, Olly-Lee with 3 goals and Mason with one goal. Mr Campbell’s player of the match was Mya. She was a fantastic defender and showed no fear when tackling.
We welcome Bready next Tuesday for our home leg of the friendly.
On Friday a team made up of Year 6 and Year 7 pupils went to Bready CC to take part in the annual blitz competition. We played 4 games and we won 2 and lost 2. We finished up 7th overall which was a great achievement as there were 15 teams involved. Thank you to the NWCU for the invitation, we had a great day.
Congratulations to Rachel who received her word millionaire award today in assembly. This is a fantastic achievement Rachel, keep reading!!
