We presented £404 to Victoria from Children’s Heartbeat Trust from Rosie’s Red Day last month. We have also sent £404 to the CHC ward at Crumlin Hospital where Baby Rosie was cared for. We can’t thank our families enough for their generosity on Rosie’s Red Day.

On Wednesday, 10 boys and girls from Year 6 & 7 travelled to Melvin Sports Complex to take part in the Martin Gormley football cup.
We had loads of fun with some fantastic football being played. The weather wasn’t on our side but we gave it our all.
A big thanks to Marty for the invitation. :)

Our pupil council arranged for the ice cream van to visit school for Feel Good Friday.

A huge well done to Ariana and Mya as their team won the under 11 Girls Derry & District Summer Cup at the weekend. Congratulations girls and to the rest of your team from everyone at Artigarvan Primary School and Community Nursery.

We had a lovely treat in school when Tom Sweeney came to visit. Everyone from nursery to Year 7 enjoyed the songs and everyone was singing along (the staff too). Thank you Tom for an enjoyable morning.

Year 6 and Year 7 enjoyed a cookery demonstration with Sandra from the Livestock Meat Commission. The children enjoyed tasting the chilli beef pasta and now have a cookery book to make some delicious meals at home.
