We were so 'eggcited' today when Thea noticed somebody outside in our playground....THE EASTER BUNNY! We couldn't believe that he came to visit us today and he even left us some treats in our playground. Look at all of these happy faces.
Happy Easter boys and girls :)
Well done to all of the boys and girls for their hard work making their wonderful egg creations. They were all fantastic but we had to choose some winners in each class. Samantha and Cherry from the kitchen had the very difficult job of choosing a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each class.
Well done to everyone for taking part.
Happy Easter :)
Y5/6 were all working so hard this morning, when all of a sudden, there was a knock at our classroom window! It was the Easter bunny! We were all invited outside to hunt for all the pink eggs!
It was all very exciting 🤩🤩🤩
Check out our video and photos!
The nursery children have been practising recognising their name and also becoming familiar with the letter shapes within their names. We used the cotton buds and paint to print over each letter.
Miss Moore enjoyed helping the children to decorate their Easter eggs on Thursday. These are for the school egg competition and will be judged on Tuesday by our cooks, Samantha and Cherry.
Good luck everyone!
This week the boys and girls had a super week of learning. They were learning lots of new things and tried hard with remembering our golden rules again.
Have a super weekend boys and girls. :)
When we arrived in school this morning we found a lovely surprise in the corridor...have a look at the photographs to see what we found. We had PE this morning so we were able to have a go on our new corridor activities on the way to the hall. For PE we were on an egg hunt at the zoo, we had to listen carefully to our instructions and do the correct movement.
The children in Year 2/3 have been learning about Spring and growing seeds. In our Musical Pathways last week we had to pretend to be a seed and grow and grow into a beautiful sunflower.
A very suitable book to read this week was “The Enormous Turnip”. The children really enjoyed listening to the story and retelling it in their own words.
Today we saw amazing teamwork in our classroom as we all worked together to create a beautiful display about our story. Have a look to see all the hard work and our finished masterpiece. We are so proud of you Year 2/3 🌟
