A huge thank you to all our families who sent in donations in lieu of staff Christmas presents and to the children who donated £1 for Christmas jumper day. We were delighted to hand over £706 to Michelle from Healing Hearts at Foyle Hospice for the invaluable service they provide to children who have a terminally ill parent or dealing with a bereavement.

21st Dec 2023

On Wednesday we had a fantastic surprise. Whilst out for break the children could hear the sound of bells in the distance. ๐Ÿ””  Little did they know it was the big man himself. ๐ŸŽ…๐Ÿป The children had great fun with Santa. He met all of the boys and girls and even had a go on the play equipment. We would like to say a BIG thank you to Santa for calling to see us especially when he is so busy.

The staff of Artigarvan Primary School and Community Nursery would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a peaceful New Year. ๐ŸŽ„๐ŸŽ„

This term we have been learning about how to write instructions.  We talked about the layout and the different connective words that are best to use.  The children very carefully wrote the instructions for making a chocolate reindeer. As they did such a good job at writing these, we were able to make our own chocolate reindeer today. What a treat for Christmas ๐ŸŽ„๐ŸŽ…
